Arugula 🌱
Arugula is a fast-growing, cool-season leafy green that grows well from seed and is prized for its peppery flavor.
Growing Instructions
Best Time to Plant: Sow seeds in early spring (as soon as the soil can be worked) or late summer for a fall harvest. It thrives in temperatures between 40°F and 75°F
Soil & Spacing: Use nutrient-rich, well-drained soil amended with compost. Sow seeds 1/4-inch deep. For full-sized plants, space them 4 to 6 inches apart; for baby greens, you can broadcast seeds more densely.
Maturity: as little as 20-40 days to harvest.
You can begin harvesting individual outer leaves once they are 2 to 3 inches long. If you cut the entire plant about 1 inch above the soil, it will often regrow for a second or third harvest.
50-100 seeds per packet.
